The study of macro programme for discrete approximation of non-circular curve
Abstract: The discrete approximation is the method often used to process the non-circular curve in the actual production. There are mainly two programming ways, CAD/CAM auto-programming and manual programming. Digital macro programme that is a representative of manual programming, has some very prominent advantages. According to the study and current applicational situation of the domestic digital macro programme, this paper summarizes and compares the advantages and disadvantages for the various kinds of processing methods for discrete approximation of non-circular curve, summarizes the macro programmes for many kinds of approximation, raises the inspection method of equal-spaced straight line approximation step distance, reestablish the mathematical model for equal-error straight line approximation method, simplifies the programme and implements the pure manual programming of all kinds of discrete approximation methods to a certain extent.
