This summer vacation, I took part in the English extra class. I found many interesting things here.
First, the teachers are very kind. For example, our headteacher Miss Zhou, and many foreign teachers. They teach us English and help us improve English. I think attending their classes is very interesting and exceting.
Second,the students in the camp are very lovely. We always paly together and study together. Everydaywe are very happy. It’s a vew life to me. Because it is a good chance to know many good friends. It brings me a colourful life.
so I enjoy the things and people here.
這個暑假，我加入了英語補習班。在這裏發生許多有趣的事。
首先，這裏的老師都非常和藹，比如我們的周老師和壹些外教，他們教我們英語幫助我們提高英語水平。所以參加這個課程我感到很開心很有趣。
其次，這裏的同學都很活潑，我們壹起學習壹起遊戲。每天過的都很開心。這是壹個新的生活，因為讓我有機會認識更多的好朋友。讓我的生活豐富多彩。所以我喜歡這裏的每個人和這裏有趣的事。
It’s a clear day. I got up early and did some morning exercises with my dear parents in the nearby park. After breakfast, mom gave me some money and asked me to buy some fruit to see my dear grandmother. I brought some apples and banana in the supermarket. I walked to grandmother’s house. Grandmother was very excite to see me. I gave her a surprise. We talked and laughed all the way. I cooked lunch for her. We had lunch together. Grandmother lived in a big house alone. I knew she was lonely, so I decided to see her more and care her more.
There are uncountable old people living alone. They need care and love very much. I think we should give more love to the old.
今天的天氣風和日歷，我起的很早，並且和我最愛的家人在附近壹起做了晨練。早餐之後，媽媽讓我拿些錢去買水果然後去看望我的外婆。外婆看到我的時候很開心，因為我給了她壹個驚喜。我們壹路上心情都很好。我為她做了午飯並且壹起吃。外婆自己住，所以很孤單，我句頂以後多來看她，多多的照顧她。
有很多老人都是壹個人生活，他們需要更多的關愛，我想我應該給他們更多的愛。
live very happily today! In the morning, it is very fine! Then I climb the mountain with family, the air on the mountain is very fresh, the flowers plants and trees on the mountain all seem extremely beautiful. In the afternoon, I go to friend's home to play, the friend entertains me warmly, show me a lot of books of his , has listened to his CD for me , then also ask me to eat a sumptuous dinner. Coming back home in the evening, family and I sat and watched TV together, we are returning and eating the fruit while chatting, the whole family is happy and harmonious!

I have rested for a week. I began to feel bored. So I went out with my friends. They are my best friends in the middle school. We didn’t go to someplace special. We just saw the other. We had lunch together. While we were having lunch, we were still talking about the new school and new friends. Yes! A year later, we have grown riper. And we learned much more things and got new life. We haven’t enough time to play, to waste and to lose the way. We only have two years. Two years to go, we will get the real life which belongs to us.

I have stayed in Shanghai alone for a week. It’s time for me to go to my real home—it is in Beijing. My parents are waiting for me. Although outside is no matter how beautiful, Beijing is still my home. In fact, there is many fresh things. Like red bayberries. In the afternoon, I took a bus to Beijing. I was very unlucky that my mp3 was stolen. I was very sad. I didn’t know why thieves went to steal other’s things. Why don’t they hunt for a job? I don’t why! I hope there is no thief in our motherland.

When I got home, it was very dark. Why? There is no electric. Every year in Beijing, there is lack of electric to supply. Because there are a lot of factories. And it is very cold in winter. So the government decided: supply electric to resident and the factories must stop working. My house is in the manufacturing district. I was unlucky. It was very cold. So my father use the electric making machine to make electric. Oh! What a unlucky winter!

It was cooler than yesterday. One of my father’s friends invited me to eat red bayberries. You must know it is unusual. Because we will climb the hill to eat red bayberries. There is no chance to eat red bayberries in the hill for the people who don’t live in Beijing. On the hill, you can breathe the fresh air, you can listen birds singing and you can eat red bayberries. It was enjoyable. It is said there are wild pigs in the hill. What a beautiful natural.

第壹天：the NEWSPAPER 報 紙
Nowadays the newspaper possesses considerable value Everybody should read it. It supplies us with a variety of news every day. It tells us the political situation of the world. If we form the habit of reading the newspaper, we shall (will) get enough knowledge to cope with our circumstances.
現今報紙擁有極大的價值，人人都應該看它。它每天提供我們各種類類的消息。它告訴我們世界政治局勢。如果我們養成看報的習慣，我們就能得到足夠的知識來因應我們的環境。
學生雖然每天須做功課，但他們至少應該勻出壹兩個小時來看報。哪些，他們不但能增加知識而且也能趕上時代。總而言之，看報對學生很有益處。

Though my daily life is extremely monotonous, I try hard to adapt myself to it. Why? Because I intend to be a good student. I wish to render service to my country.
I get up at six o’clock every day. After I wash my face and brush my teeth, I begin to review my lessons. I go to school at seven o’clock.
After school is over, I return home. We usually have supper at seven o’clock.then I begin to do my homework. I want to finish it before I go to bed.
雖然我的日常生活十分單調，但我卻竭力設法去適應它。為什麽？因為我打算做壹個好學生，希望將來為國家服務。
我每天六點起床、洗臉刷牙後，就開始復習功課，七點鐘我就去上學。
放學後，我就回家了。我們通常在七點鐘吃晚餐，之後我就開始做家庭作業，希望在睡覺前把它做完。

Do you mind being called a bad student? Of course not. So far as I know, everybody intends to be (become) a model student.
However, to be a model student is by no means an easy thing. First, he must do his best to obtain knowledge. A man without sufficient knowledge will not succeed. Secondly, he must remember to improve his health. Only a strong man can do GREat tasks. Thirdly, he should receive moral education. If his conduct is not good, no one will consider making friends with him.

第四天：HOW TO GET HAPPINESS 如何獲得快樂
there is no doubt that happiness is the most precious thing in the world. Without it, life will be empty and meaningless. If you wish to know how to get happiness, you must pay attention to the following two points.
First, health is the secret of happiness (the key to happiness). Only a strong man can enjoy the pleasure of life.
Secondly, happiness consists in contentment. A man who is dissatisfied with his present condition is always in distress.
無疑的快樂是世界上最寶貴的東西。沒有它，人生將是空虛的而且毫無意義的。如果妳希望知道如何獲得快樂，妳須註意下面兩點。
健康是快樂的要訣。唯有身體強壯的人才能享受人生的樂趣。
快樂在於知足。壹個不滿於現狀的人終是處在痛苦之中。

第五天：BOOKS 書籍
As is well known, books teach us to learn life, truth, science and many other useful things. They increase our knowledge, broaden our minds and strengthen our character. In other words, they are our good teachers and wise friends. This is the reason why our parents always encourage us to read more books.
Reading is a good thing, but we must pay GREat attention to the choice of books. It is true that we can derive benefits from good books. However, bad books will do us more harm than good.
如眾所周知，書籍教我們學習人生，真理，科學以及其它許多有用的東西。它們增加我們的知識，擴大我們的心胸並加強我們的品格。換句話說，它們是我們的良師益友。這是為什麽我們的父母終是鼓勵我們要多讀書的理由。
讀書是壹好事，但我們必須多加註意書的選擇。不錯，我們能從好書中獲得益處。然而，壞書卻對我們有害無益。

第六天：A TRIP TO the COUNTRY 鄉村遊記One Sunday my mother (Mother) had (made) me take my little young brother to the a trip to the country. She bade me take good care of him.
While we were walking along the road, the sun was shining brightly and the breeze was blowing gently. We saw the beautiful flowers smile (smiling) at us and heard the birds sing (singing) their sweet songs on the trees. The scenery was indeed very pretty (beautiful).
When we felt tired, we returned home. We saw Mother (our mother) wait (waiting) for us at the door.
有壹個星期日，我母親叫我帶小弟弟去鄉村遊歷。她吩咐我要好好照料他。
當我們沿著道路行走的時候，太陽燦爛地照耀著，微風輕輕地吹著。我們看見美麗的花兒對我們微笑著，並聽見鳥兒在樹上唱著悅耳的歌曲，風景實十分美麗。
當我們感覺到疲倦的時候，我們就回家了。我們看見母樣正在門口等候我們。
第七天：BE PATRIOTIC 要愛國
It is the duty of every citizen to make the country rich and powerful (To make the country rich and strong is...). In order to accomplish this object one must be patriotic (love his country). I consider this an unchangeable truth.
How can a student love his country (be patriotic)? I find my answer very simple and clear. He must study hard and store up knowledge so as to serve his (the) country in the future. If every student can do according to what I said, the country will certainly be rich and powerful.
要使國家富強是每個公民的責任。為了達到此目的，必須愛國。我認為這是壹條不易的定理。
壹個學生如何才能愛國呢？我發覺答復很簡單明了。他必須用功讀書並積儲知識以便將來服務國家。如果每個學生能按照我所說的去做，國家壹定會富強。

第八天：the VALUE OF TIME 愛惜時光
An English proverb says that time is money. I consider it (this) wrong. Why? Because we all know that we can earn money be work but can not in any way get back time (in anyway). For this reason, we may (can) say that time is more valuable than money.
Many people do not know the value of time. It (this) is indeed a GREat pity. We must bear (keep) in mind that wasting time is equal to wasting your life.
英國有句諺語說，時間就是金錢。我認為這是不對的。為什麽？因為我們大家都知道我們能夠用工作賺錢，但無論如何卻無法把時間爭取回來。基於此種理由，我們可以說時間比錢錢更寶貴。
許多人不知愛惜時光。這確實是可惜的。我們必須記住浪費時間等於浪費生命。

If you want to ask me why we should study English, my answer will be simple and clear. Now let me enumerate the reasons one by one in the following.In the first place, English has become an international language. If you know English, you van make a trip round the world without being misunderstood.In the second place, most valuable books, newspapers and magazines are written in English. If you wish (hope) to get knowledge, you must learn English.
如果妳要問我們為什麽我們要學英文。我的答復很簡單明了。現在讓我來把我的理由壹壹列舉在下面：英文已成為壹種國際語言。如果妳通曉它，妳可以環遊世界不會被人誤解。大多數有價值的書籍，報紙和雜誌都是用英文寫的。如果妳希望獲得知識，妳必須學習英文。
第十天：MY BIRTHDAY 我的生日
Yesterday was my birthday, so some of my classmates sent me presents. Mother prepared a tea party for me. I invited all of them to come and take part in it.The tea party began at half past six. There were cold drinks and refreshments. We ate, talked and laughed. We felt that we were the happiest men in the world.Time passed quickly. In a twinkling, the clock on the wall struck nine. We could not but say “Good-bye” to one another.

Though Sundays are set aside as a day for rest, we must make good use of them.We know that our school lessons are usually not sufficient. We should often utilize Sundays to read reference books. In this way we will increase our knowledge. Besides, we must be engaged in sports or outing so as to strengthen our bodies.
我們許多人終是把星期日毫無目的地消度掉。這確實是十分可惜。我們很少能從星期日的寶貴時光中獲得益處。雖然星期日是被指定為壹個休息的日子，但是我們卻應好好利用它。我們知道我們學校的功課通常是不夠的。我們應時常利用星期日來閱讀參考書。如此我們的知識就會增加了。此外，我們必須從事運動或郊遊以便強壯我們的身體。

there is an English proverb which says (saying) “Honesty is the best policy.” It signifies the importance of honesty.
What are the benefits of honesty? If you are honest to others, they will be honest to you in return. When you are sad, they will comfort you. When you are in trouble, they will help you.
there is no enumerating the evils of dishonesty here. In a word, a dishonest man will be looked down upon by others and (be) regarded as a public enemy.
英國有壹句諺語說“誠為上策”。它說明了誠的重要性。
誠的益處是什麽？如果妳對他人誠實，他們也會對妳誠實作為報答。當妳憂悉的時候，他們會安慰妳。當妳是處在困難中的時候，他們會幫助妳。
無法在這裏數述不誠實的害處。壹言以蔽之，壹個不誠實的人會被人看輕的而且被看作為壹個公敵。
第十三天：HOW EXERCISE HELPS 運動的利益
If our bodies are not strong, our spirit to do things will certainly be quite dull. And at the same time, we are lack of energy (ies) to study. Diseases will only attack the weak, but not the strong.
Why are our bodies not strong? Because we do not pay attention to exercise. For this reason, we students must often take different kinds (sorts) of exercise in the gym.
Exercise helps us (to) strengthen our bodies and avoid disease. It also teaches us cooperation, for most exercise is played by team.
如果我們的身體不強壯，我們做事的精神壹定會十分遲鈍。而且同時，我們也缺少足夠的精力來讀書。疾病只為侵擊體弱的人而不是強壯的人。
為什麽我們的身體會不強壯呢？因為我們不註意運動。基於此種理由，我們學生必須時常在運動場做不同種類的運動。
運動幫助我們強壯身體並避免疾病。它也教我們合作，因為大多數的運動都是團體遊玩的。
