出界（OUT）----球沒有打在場地的有效部位。單打時的有效部位是靠內的兩條豎線之間的空間，而雙打時則是靠外的兩條豎線之間的區域。
擦網（NET）-----在發球時擦網被判為犯規需要重發，而在正常的比賽過程中則會被視為運氣球，因為通常球在擦網後會改變飛行方向，令對手防不勝防。
穿越球----指壹方上網截擊，當對方打出壹個速度很快的回球並落在界內得分，而上網的壹方沒能觸到球。看高手對局，穿越球是最漂亮的，因為壹般來說上網的壹方是占據有利的，而打出穿越球則頗有點反敗為勝的味道。
挑高球-----指壹方上網截擊，占據有利位置，另壹方打出弧度很高的球，跳過上網方的頭頂，並落在界內得分。
