1、前綴：dict說，斷言。

三、dictionary的用法
1、dictionary可以用作名詞dictionary的基本意思是“詞典，字典”，指按壹定順序如字母表等排列的，包括拼寫、發音、詞性、詞形變化、釋義、用法及詞源等方面內容的工具書。
2、在表示查字典時，dictionary須用動詞consult，search，turn up或use，不可用look for，look for的賓語可以是詞，但不可以是“詞典”。
3、在表示關於某方面的詞典時，dictionary後面接介詞of，而不接介詞on，about。
4、dictionary用作名詞的用法例句
That is not，properly speaking，a dictionary but a grammar book.
