During the last thirty years, the economy of the world has increased sharply, so it is the same with the temperature. Global warming is an extremely serious problem facing the world today.

More and more carbon dioxide from burning the coal and oil is discharged into the air every year. The carbon dioxide can absorb the heat from the earth. What’s worse, couples of them died. Ecologist says because of global warming there are more and more coral will die. The inland country will be drier because of the El Ni?0?9o. The storms and hurricane will be a common occurrence in the future. In addition, the warming climate is more suitable for the virus to propagate. And some of the viruses freeze into the ice millions years ago may recover.
In the recent past the IPCC projected a sea level rise of 6 inches to 37 inches by 2100. On March 24, 2006 researchers said in a report in the Journal Science that accelerating meltdown of Antarctic and Arctic ice, along with melting Greenland glaciers will increase sea level rise perhaps by more than 3 feet. The scientists say that anticipated Arctic warming of 4 degrees Fahrenheit by 2100, will be at least as warm as it was 130,000 years, when sea level was 20 feet higher. Thus, cities like New York，London，Hong Kong，Shanghai and entire countries like Holland will disappear forever.
Global warming is a world problem. It needs all of us to work together to deal with. On December 11, 1997, the Kyoto Protocol was proposed. It requires the United States, the European Union and Japan to reduce greenhouse gas emissions (below 1990 levels) by 7%, 8% and 6%, respectively, by the year 2010.In 2002, Chinese and Russia government ratified it. On the other hand, we should cut the energy use or make it cycle used, such as use efficient appliances and promote community carpooling. If the destination is not that far and we are not in a hurry, why not go there by bicycle or walk to there, it is good for our health. To execute the family planning plan is also a good way to prevent global warming. The carbon dioxide is mainly absorbed by the forest，thus，in order to control the global warming, we should protect every forest from now. But the most important thing we should do is to try our best to exploit and popularize the clean energy, such as the solar and wind energy, they are inexhaustible.
